The first 10 professionals approved will automatically receive Founding Professional status, the Founding Professional designation on their listing, and the $149 first-year rate. Applications received after those positions are filled will be considered for regular listing at $249 per year.

Applications are reviewed individually. If your application is approved, you will be contacted with next steps. Payment is not requested at the time of application — it will be requested only after approval and only if you choose to proceed.

If approved, you will be listed as an independent professional. You are not an employee, contractor, or representative of Making Sense Press or Lisa Tarves LLC, and Making Sense Press does not become responsible for your services, fees, contracts, or client relationships by virtue of your listing.

Listed professionals are expected to acknowledge new author inquiries within two business days whenever reasonably possible. Repeated substantiated concerns regarding nonresponse or professionalism may affect continued directory eligibility.
