Making Sense Press is operated by Lisa Tarves LLC d/b/a Making Sense Press.
By submitting a manuscript application to Making Sense Press, you agree to the following terms.
Ownership of Submitted Material
By submitting an application, you confirm that you own or control all rights to the material you submit, including the manuscript, title, and any descriptions, excerpts, or supporting materials. You represent that your submission does not infringe the rights of any third party.
No Confidential Relationship
Submitting a manuscript application does not create a confidential, fiduciary, or publishing relationship between you and Making Sense Press. Please do not submit material you consider confidential or proprietary. Making Sense Press is not obligated to keep your submission confidential.
No Guarantee of Acceptance
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, publication, or any particular response. Making Sense Press may accept or decline any project at its sole discretion, based on quality, professionalism, readiness, and fit with our publishing mission.
Retain Copies of Your Submission
You are responsible for retaining copies of everything you submit. Making Sense Press is not responsible for the loss, damage, or return of any submitted materials.
No Publishing Obligation
Submission does not create any obligation on the part of Making Sense Press to publish, respond within a specific timeframe, or enter into any agreement. A publishing relationship is only established through a separate written publishing agreement signed by both parties.
Use of Submitted Information
Information submitted through our application form will be used to review your application and communicate with you about your submission. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle your information.
