What Founding Professional Status Means
Founding Professionals are among the first approved professionals in the Making Sense Press Professional Directory. Their early participation helps establish the quality, range, and character of the professional resources available to authors who publish under the Making Sense Press imprint.
Founding Professional status is a permanent designation — it remains associated with a professional's directory listing as long as they remain continuously active and in good standing with Making Sense Press. It is not a promotional add-on and is not available for purchase.
Every professional in the Making Sense Press Professional Directory is an independent service provider. Founding Professionals, like all directory members, are not employees or contractors of Making Sense Press. Authors engage them directly, and Making Sense Press does not manage, supervise, or guarantee the services they provide.
Founding Professionals may appear both in the regular Making Sense Press Professional Directory in up to two approved service categories and on this dedicated Founding Professionals recognition page.

All professionals listed in the Making Sense Press Professional Directory, including Founding Professionals, are independent service providers. They are not employees, agents, or contractors of Making Sense Press. Authors engage directory professionals directly and are responsible for their own agreements with those professionals. Making Sense Press does not manage, supervise, warrant, or guarantee the services provided by any directory professional.
